About
Successful negotiations require the parties to be ready negotiate, which means both willing (emotionally and psychologically prepared) and able (having the necessary information and intellectual capacity). Successful settlement advocates must also balance supporting their own client and advancing their needs, and connecting with, appreciating and working with the needs of the other.
